"The Friends of Poodles' site has been established by a small group of people in Canberra  in December 2008 who share a common interest in the joy and ownership of that wonderful dog " THE POODLE". It gives them the opportunity to get together for walks, fun and social interaction.

There are no membership fees involved as this is not a club - it is just a forum that provides information on where and when to get together for walks with that important four legged family member - namely the poodle.

Your poodle doesn't have to have a pedigree to be a participant with this group but it does have to be a purebred to be eligible.

There aren't any committee members as such as this is not a club. However there is a mailing list for walk invitations and who may be contacted with a view to sharing information, stories, personal poodle experiences etc.

So if you own a poodle and would like to participate in regular walks please subscribe to the mailling list.

Anyone within this group can issue a walk invitation through the website and participation in the group walks is voluntary.

This way the owners and poodles are given an opportunity to explore different parts of Canberra in friendly small groups.
